Red Raspberry Mead

Mead is considered to be one of the oldest alcohol beverages in recorded history. It has been enjoyed by common folk in the local pub, and also nobility in the comfort of their castles. The ancient Greeks considered it to be the “nectar of the gods”. Today meads can be as simple as honey, water and yeast, or more complex with the addition of fruits, spices or hops. Regardless of your choice of styles, mead is a beverage to be enjoyed on every occasion.

Our Red Raspberry Mead begins with the bold flavour of vine-ripened raspberries. This complex flavour profile finishes with the smooth flavours of Alberta honey and is reminiscent of fresh picked raspberries and sugar. Pairs well with full bodied cheeses, fruity salads and spicy foods. Should be enjoyed at room temperature or lightly chilled.
