Who Are We?
Beary Berry Honey Inc. is a family-operated apiary owned by Sam and Sandra Thiessen near Tofield, Alberta, Canada. We have been beekeeping with our children since 2004 and it remains a family operation to this day!
How It All Began…
In 2006, we decided to experiment with honey and fruit and began selling seven honey blends: Strawberry, Cranberry, Blueberry, Blackberry, Red Raspberry, Black Raspberry and Cinnamon. They were an immediate hit! Since our launch, the Beary Berry Honey product line has grown tremendously and now includes over 40 products including, flavoured honeys, glazes, vinaigrettes, tea-infused honey, mead, lip balms, and lotion bars.
Where Are We Now…
Today we carry several different product lines, all handcrafted in our very own commercial kitchen, using pure Alberta unpasteurized honey from our own hives and blended with all-natural ingredients. We strive to create a high quality, locally made product that you can feel confident about enjoying. Our children, now grown and raising families of their own, are still involved in the business and continue to help us in crafting, bottling, labeling, and marketing our products from our family to yours.
Where Can You Find Us?
Our family has worked very hard to make Beary Berry Honey Inc. one of the most well-known value-added honey producers in Alberta. Beary Berry Honey Inc. products can be found in our farm store outside of Tofield, Alberta, at farmers’ markets in the Edmonton area, and in many Sobeys, Safeway stores, and craft fairs across Alberta.
